About Andrea Balestra
Andrea Balestra is a Los Angeles–based guitarist, composer, and educator, originally from Italy, and a Berklee College of Music graduate with honors.
After completing his studies at Berklee—where he earned two degrees with honors —Andrea relocated to Southern California to pursue a professional career in music. He has been featured on world renowned publications, such as Vintage Guitar Magazine, All About Jazz and M Music and Musicians.
Andrea also spent over a decade working as musical director and guitarist for Grammy-nominated songwriter Bobby “Hurricane” Spencer.
Performance & Professional Experience
Andrea has performed at renowned Southern California venues including The Baked Potato, The Canyon Club, The Roxy, Whisky a Go Go, and The House of Blues.
He has collaborated, recorded, or shared the stage with artists such as Dick Dale, Keb’ Mo’, Scott Henderson, and John Pisano.
His track “Bulldozer” was featured in the compilation album “The Loner - A Tribute To Jeff Beck”

Instruction is provided as supplemental, one-on-one lessons designed to support students in a homeschool or independent study environment, and is not a full-time educational program.
